Procter & Gamble is a multinational company based in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, mainly producing chemical consumer products. It mainly specializes in a wide range of cleaning agents and personal care and hygiene products.

With a 180-year history, P&G combines a common goal and growth strategy to improve the lives of more consumers every day in small but meaningful ways. Prima, Ariel, Alo, Fairy, Febreze, Head & Shoulder, Pantene, Gillette, Ipana, Oral-B are some of its brands.

PROJECT REPORT

Objective

The project aimed to share the production information with the personnel from the screens located at the P&G Gebze factory and to make announcements and communication to be made through these screens when necessary.
In order to carry out the meetings and presentations easier and more interactive, it was aimed to use technological devices in the meeting rooms.

Solution

Totally 26 industrial grade screens, of which 15 pieces 55” and 11 pieces 49” sizes, were installed at different locations within the factory working 3 shifts per day, and 24/7.
In the meeting rooms, touch screens of different sizes such as 82 ”, 65” and 55”, which are also called smart boards, were positioned.

Instead of these old-fashioned methods, a wireless image transfer system solution was introduced as several converters left on the table was creating a mess and getting lost over time, so that the video cables spanned to the tables in the meeting room could match different notebooks.

Advantage

The central management software provided with the screens located in the factory provided remote access to the screens, enabling the broadcasting and updating of desired content when necessary.
The touch screens in the meeting rooms were made available as a presentation screen or as a blackboard when needed.
Thanks to the ClickShare wireless image transfer devices positioned in the meeting rooms, operational difficulties such as video transmission cables on the tables and their supply, operation and arrangement were eliminated.
