L’Oréal Group is the world’s largest cosmetics and beauty company. L’Oréal also incorporates the brands such as Kiehl’s, Maybelline, Vichy, Garnier, Helena Rubinstein, Lancome, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani Parfums, Biotherm, Cacharel, Kerastase, La Roche Posay made for the middle-high-class. Nestlé, the Swiss chocolate company, is the second largest partner of this company. It ranks 2nd in the list of the top 50 cosmetic brands organized by Brand Finance.

L’Oréal purchased Synthelabo in 1973 to pursue its pharmaceutical goals. Synthelabo merged with Sanofi in 1999 to become Sanofi-Synthelabo. Sanofi-Synthelabo merged with Aventis in 2004 to become Sanofi-Aventis.

On March 17, 2006, L’Oréal paid £ 652 million to buy cosmetic firm The Body Shop. Current owner of the company is Liliane Bettencourt.

Objective

It was aimed to provide a shopping experience in a charming environment with screens covering the walls of the store.

Solution

L’Oréal Turkey, covered the walls of its newly open Lancome Store in Bagdat Street with digital screens instead of posters through the project of which the iDisplay carried out the consultancy and implementation.

Within the scope of the project, a strong and extremely impressive show area was created with 52 professional screens used in the store. With the installed system, both the hardware and all contents of the screens are managed from a single center.

According to the globally reported store concept, the same content is displayed on all screens at the same time, offering visitors a shopping experience in a fascinating environment.
