L’Oréal Group is the world’s largest cosmetics and beauty company. L’Oréal also incorporates the brands such as Kiehl’s, Maybelline, Vichy, Garnier, Helena Rubinstein, Lancome, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani Parfums, Biotherm, Cacharel, Kerastase, La Roche Posay made for the middle-high-class. Nestlé, the Swiss chocolate company, is the second-largest partner of this company. It ranks 2nd in the list of the top 50 cosmetic brands organized by Brand Finance.

L’Oréal purchased Synthelabo in 1973 to pursue its pharmaceutical goals. Synthelabo merged with Sanofi in 1999 to become Sanofi-Synthelabo. Sanofi-Synthelabo merged with Aventis in 2004 to become Sanofi-Aventis.

On March 17, 2006, L’Oréal paid £ 652 million to buy cosmetics firm The Body Shop.

Another brand incorporated in its structure NYX Cosmetics was born in Los Angeles in 1999 by entrepreneur Toni Ko with the vision of creating a professional make-up brand that is affordable, good quality and will guide the trends. NYX quickly became one of America’s fastest-growing colorful cosmetics brands.

L’Oréal Turkey has continued to work with iDisplay for professional imaging solutions of its new NYX Cosmetics Store opened in Bağdat Street as in other brands.

PROJECT REPORT

Objective

It was aimed to create a digital store environment by replacing banners and posters with screens and to attract the attention of the people passing in front of the store, to direct them into the store, and to introduce colorful products with bright and vivid images to the customers shopping inside.

Solution

Horizontal screens that provide highly bright images for in-store product demonstrations and 2,500 nitts 75” special vertical screens that provide vivid and bright images even in daylight are placed to promote outside visitors.

Advantage

  • Within the scope of the project, strong and highly remarkable digital broadcast areas were obtained by using vertical screens in store windows.
  • In the store, the horizontal screens used in the store offered visitors a shopping experience in an impressive and pleasant environment with very vibrant colors.
