MediaCube at Turkmenistan Olympic Complex with iDisplay & Ledeca Partnership

The Olympic Complex, which was started to be built in 2010 in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, is preparing to host the 2017 Asian Olympics. In the project, which will be the largest “Olympic Complex in Central Asia, the solutions created by the cooperation of iDisplay and Ledeca took their place.
PROJECT REPORT
This project, which was the result of the collaboration between iDisplay and Ledeca, was the first of its kind as an application, aimed to provide instant data flow to thousands of viewers in an impressive way and to provide an enjoyable experience.
With MediaCube, which is formed by covering 4 sides with LED screens on a special construction and positioned processor, video, interactive graphics, images from live broadcast and data from scoring system can be displayed on any surface of the system.
In the MediaCube Application, which consists of a total area of 80 m2 with a large surface of 30.4 m2 (7.6 x 4) and a narrow surface of 9.6 m2 (2.4 x 4), high quality 6mm spaced LED products are used. Outdoor LED components and fanless aluminum case technology were used since the environment is a closed area which contains high humidity and chlorine gas and is corrodible.
- MediaCube, the first of its kind in the world with 80 m2, created an impressive and magnificent environment for athletes and viewers participating in the Olympics.
