Project Detail

Sephora is a French chain of cosmetics stores founded in 1969. Featuring nearly 300 brands, along with its own private label, Sephora offers beauty products including makeup, skincare, body, fragrance, nail color, and haircare.

When Dominique Mandonnaud opened his first perfume shop in 1969, perfume and cosmetics were hidden behind the countertops and protected jealously by intimidating sales representatives. Mandonnaud has revolutionized the sale of your beauty. He took his beauty products behind the benches and set them forward, centered. Freedom to walk around, experiment, touch, sniff and freely explore.

Mandonnaud continued to expand the Sephora brand through the 1990s, opening up its flagship store in Champs Élysées in 1997. Sephora stores have spread all over Europe, North and South America, Middle East and Asia.

Sephora is a solution partner with iDisplay in professional imaging.

Initiated with iDisplay, more than 50 different professional displays are used in stores to provide shoppers with a powerful and highly impressive shopping experience. VideoWall, which is used on the back of the case, provides the messages that are required to be delivered to the customers very effectively. Vertical displays in different sizes positioned on the make-up corners and digital broadcast fields to capture the customers’ products were made. The horizontal screens used in the store also tried to present the shopping experience in an impressive and pleasant environment where the customers who visited the store were very vivid colors in every point. With the system installed, all contents of the screens can be managed from a single center.

The conversion of the contents requested to the customers into the content published on high resolution glossy screens instead of printed banners allows the Sephora stores to be more recognizable by the customers while offering a more professional appearance.
